The Department of Art at Bradley offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in studio art and art history. The department also coordinates cultural programs, exhibitions and lectures. Facilities are located in the Heuser Art Center and the Caterpillar Global Communications Center. Heuser Art Center is a 33,000 sq. ft. facility with fully-equipped studios for ceramics, painting, printmaking and photography and sculpture..

Scott also teaches photography at the Peoria Art Guild as part of their Mentor Apprentice Program. Scott lectures regionally on photography and digital imaging. He exhibits his images nationally and has won awards from The Texas Photographic Society, The Photography Hall of Fame and the National Press Photographers Association.

Scott is a member of The Society of Photographic Educators, The National Association of Photoshop Professionals and the College Art Association.

As a working professional photographer, he is the owner and principal of Studio Cavanah, Inc. The studio does editorial and advertising work for regional and national clients.
