We’ve come up with a way for YOU to show campus your talent! The Edge Radio Station is proud to announce their first ever T-Shirt contest.
What better way to show campus just how awesome you are than to have everyone around campus wearing something you created?
We’ll even throw in a little extra something if you win. The winning entry will receive two copies of their shirt and a $20 iTunes gift card as well as the respect of millions campus-wide.
Entrants are NOT limited to Edge DJs (although they are encouraged to enter). We want anyone and everyone with creative talent from Bradley to showcase it!
RULES:
- You must have a valid Bradley University Student ID to enter.
- You can submit as many different designs as you want.
- Formats Supported are .JPG, .AI (encouraged), .PSD, .TIFF, and .PDF. No other formats submitted will be accepted.
- The size of the design can be no smaller than 5”x5”, 72dpi and no larger than 10”x15”, 300dpi.
- Designed submitted larger or smaller are subject to resizing.
- The designs are limited to one color. Designs submitted with multiple colors are subject to being changed to one-color designs.
- Any copyright violation found in any of the designs will result in immediate disqualification of that design.
Download the shirt template by clicking here.
It is recommended–but not required–to use the template provided. This makes it easier for us to see how you would like the design would be placed. If you submit an entry without using the template, we’re just going to assume you meant for it to be centered. Same goes for a design submitted without a background color, we’ll just assume you meant white.
Also, we reserve the right to edit the design to fit printing specifications. Certain printing companies are really picky about how designs on shirts are printed. We really don’t want to change your design, but if the printer says we have too, we really don’t have a choice. An example of something that might cause problems is a design that wraps around the front to the back of the shirt on the side. Want to avoid this? Simple: Stick to the front and back of the shirt.
Keep in mind that we are a radio station, as cool as whatever it is that you’re planning up, we’d really like the design to reflect that! Including the text “THE EDGE” somewhere wouldn’t hurt either.
Want to use our logo? Download it here!
Entries are due by December 31st, 11:59 PM, CDT.
Please Submit Entries to buedgepromotions@gmail.com
- From the entries submitted a top 5 will be chosen by the Station and Operations Managers.
- The 5 designs will be put up for voting on www.buedge.com by the start of second semester.
- A period of 2 weeks will be given for voting to occur.
- Any tampering with voting will result in immediate disqualification.
VOTING:
After voting is over we will notify the winner via email. The shirt will go to print immediately after that and the results will go up on our website. Fame and glory will follow. The winner will again be contacted to claim their prizes after we receive the brand spanking new shirts.
