34th Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition – Call for Entries

The Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition is the second-longest running juried print and drawing competition in the country. Every two years it features the best contemporary graphic artwork from around the globe. All accepted artwork is featured in a full-color exhibition catalogue and on the exhibition website.  The 34th Bradley International will be juried by Stephen Goddard, Senior Curator and Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Spencer Museum of Art, University of Kansas.

Eligibility:
\nAny artist 18 years of age or older is encouraged to submit original prints or drawings produced within the last three years (2009-2012).  Experimental techniques are encouraged.

\n

Media:
\nOpen to all traditional and non-traditional graphic media, including all forms of printmaking, drawing, and book arts.

\n

Image Requirements:
\n-Save image as a high quality JPG or PDF
\n-Image should have a resolution of 72 – 300 dpi
\n-Label Images to correspond with entry form found HERE

Entry Fees:
\nEach individual artwork submitted must be accompanied by a $10 non-refundable entry fee.  Number of entries is unlimited.  Entry fees must be paid by U.S. check or money order (payable in U.S. funds) made payable to Bradley University, or by credit card.  Detail images may be included at no additional cost but should only be provided when necessary to reveal accurate understanding of the artwork.  Entries submitted without payment will not be considered.

Deadline:
\nAll entries must be postmarked January 11th, 2013.

\n

Delivery & Return of Artwork:
\nThe artist is responsible for delivering or shipping the artwork to and from the gallery.  A bar-coded shipping label or adequate postage for return shipping must be included with all shipped work.  Be sure to label you work clearly so that it can be easily identified.  Bradley University Galleries will store artwork for up to 30 days after the closing of the exhibition.  All unclaimed work will become the property of Bradley University.

Liability:
\nAccepted Artwork will be insured for the sale price or other stated value while it is in the custody of Bradley University.  The artist is responsible for insuring the artwork while in transit.

All online submissions must also be accompanied by the submission form found online HERE.  Submission forms may be mailed directly to the galleries, or emailed to ezellefrow (at) bradley.edu.  In addition, submissions will not be accepted until payment is made via check or by credit card.
