{"id":4053,"date":"2022-02-14T13:23:37","date_gmt":"2022-02-14T19:23:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/art.bradley.edu\/bug\/?p=4053"},"modified":"2022-02-14T16:34:42","modified_gmt":"2022-02-14T22:34:42","slug":"playful-nostalgia-remembering-brian-kjellenberg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/art.bradley.edu\/bug\/playful-nostalgia-remembering-brian-kjellenberg\/","title":{"rendered":"Playful Nostalgia: Remembering Brian Kjellenberg"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>JANUARY 19th &#8211; MARCH 4th<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hartmann Gallery<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brian Kjellenberg was the sculpture area technician for around fifteen years.\u00a0 Affectionately known to everyone as &#8220;Kj&#8221;, he was a retiree from his work as an aircraft engine mechanic at the 182 Airlift Wing National Guard base in Bartonville.\u00a0 After previously enrolling at Western Illinois University, he began to take sculpture and printmaking classes at Bradley.\u00a0 We were able to offer him the part time sculpture technician position at a point where there was an opening.\u00a0\u00a0 Kj could fix anything, and enjoyed building tables, stools and cabinets.
