The Department of Art at Bradley offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in studio art and art history. The department also coordinates cultural programs, exhibitions and lectures. Facilities are located in the Heuser Art Center and the Caterpillar Global Communications Center. Heuser Art Center is a 33,000 sq. ft. facility with fully-equipped studios for ceramics, painting, printmaking and photography and sculpture..

Gary Will

Associate Professor Gary WillAs Program Coordinator for the Graphic Design Department at Doncaster College, South Yorkshire, England, and with a substantial career in graphic design behind him, Gary Will joined the faculty as Assistant Professor of Art/Graphic Design in 2000. With background experience in publication design, advertising, marketing and promotional design, his diversity and broad exposure provides for international development in the graphic design program within the Department of Art at Bradley.

Gaining full tenure and promotion to Associate Professor in 2004, Gary was also recipient of ‘The 2002 Caterpillar Inc. New Faculty Achievement Award for Teaching’ as well as recipient of the 2004 'Mental Health Educator of the Year Award' for his continual collaborative design projects with the community.

Continual emphasis of the ‘creative thought process’ and a thorough understanding of design problems and their application to target audiences is key to the delivery/approach of his teaching.

Currently in the final stages of co authoring a book entitled 'Portfolio Laboratory for Graphic Design and Multiimedia' through Prentice Hall. Expected release date will be early 2009.
