Beth Linn
Elizabeth Linn, Associate Professor of Art, received her M.F.A. in Photography from Eastern Michigan University with postgraduate studies at The University of Michigan in the History of Photography. As a fine arts photographer, she has exhibited widely from Paris to New York and throughout the States. Linn has received numerous teaching-excellence grants to develop innovative photography courses as well as in 1996 a studies abroad program in Florence, Italy. She coordinates the Jake and Lorrie Bunn Lectureship in Photography, which presents renowned fine arts and photo-journalists. Since 1980 Linn has developed a strong program in fine arts photography including black/white, color and alternative processes within photography and books arts. Linn is represented in numerous collections such as the San Diego Museum of Art, The Toledo Museum of Art Print Collection, The Maine Photographic Workshop Gallery, Rockport, Maine, and the Visual Studies Workshop Press, Rochester, New York.
