33rd Bradley International

The 33rd Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition, juried by Robert Marx, will show beginning March 5 and conclude April 15. Works will be shown at Heuser Art Center Gallery, the Contemporary Art Center, and the Peoria Art Guild. The reception will be held on March 5 with a staggered reception at the following locations and times: Heuser Gallery 5-7 pm, PAG 6-8 pm, CAC 7-9 pm.

A lecture will be held by the juror, Robert Marx, on March 10, from 5-6 pm in the Horowitz Auditorium.

The Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition is the second-longest running juried print and drawing competition in the country. Every two years it features the best contemporary graphic artwork from around the globe. All accepted artwork is featured in a full-color exhibition catalogue and on the exhibition’s website.

Robert Marx’s long and illustrious career includes recognition as a master printmaker, an illustrator of more than a dozen books, a distinguished professor of art, and a Fulbright Scholar. He has had over 40 solo exhibitions of his prints, sculptures, and paintings around the world. His work is included in the permanent collections of numerous public and private institutions including the Brooklyn Museum, Museum of Modern Art, Corcoran Gallery, National Museum of American Art, Dallas Museum, Los Angeles County Museum, Philadelphia Museum, Whitney Museum, and the Seattle Art Museum.
