Art

I rarely get the opportunity to focus on my own art these days, but when I do, I like to play with traditional/computer morphed compositions, and especially linocut relief prints. I enjoyed my first sabbatical (after 20+ years of teaching) as an ‘Artist in Residence’ at the Prairie Center of the Arts. Working on a variety of art projects, including a life changing trip along the Brazilian Amazon, where I visually documented/narrated the environment and the indigenous Sateré Mauwé people, culminating in a solo exhibition in September 2012 and an accompanying book (go to the ‘Photographer’ tab for more information).
